My name is Teresa Barger. I'm a born-again Christian, and the author of a series titled "Little Man's Journey." I'm a vessel of The Lord. He gives me the stories and I write them down. I'm honored to have "The Little Man Series".
I never intended to write children's books, and didn't even have a clue as to how to get started. I have learned that God rarely calls the qualified, but He qualifies the called. I had been praying to Him to allow me to do something creative to glorify Jesus. I was searching for some form of creativity in me, but I can't draw or paint. I can't sing or play any instruments. I can't sew or crochet or do any types of crafts. But His Word says, "we are made in His image," and He is the great Creator; therefore I knew I must have some form of creativity in me. So, I continued praying that He would allow me to do something creative for Him to reach this generation. Eventually, He started downloading stories in my mind during my prayer time. That's how "Little Man's Journey," started. "The Little Man Series," teaches children how to cope with life's problems the Christian way. The series has seven books in it, one for each night of the week. They make great bedtime stories. Eventually the Lord gave me the idea for Little Man Ministries and products to make to go along with the stories. He also gave me an idea to get a puppet made of the star of the series, Little Man himself. Now Little Man also has his own YouTube channel called, "Lessons With Little Man."
Slowly but surely the Lord is showing me how to be creative for Him. He is faithful and good.
